You as a fan are my greatest marketeers!! You can help my music reach places that I only dream about!! You may wander what you can do to help my music reach those places!! Here are a few things!!
First things you can do On the Internet
- Sign up for my Mailing List! Stay updated on my career by signing up for my mailing list. By signing up you get updates on everything goin on! You know whats going on with my career that the normal person would have no idea about!! It's a really cool thing because you can see whats going on behind the scenes of an up and coming singer/songwriter. You can sign up on this page in the Mailing List section!
- Sign the Guestbook! Even if you've signed the guestbook in the past, please sign it again! If you have my cd's or have been to a show, sign the guestbook and let the world know what you thought about it!! Someone may stumble across the site and see a glowing review by you and decide to become a fan!!
- Visit my website www.bencoulteronline.com once a day!! If you only stop by for just a minute, please stop by! The more visitors I get to the site, the better it looks!!
- Add me as a friend on Myspace (www.myspace.com/bencoulter) and on facebook (www.facebook.com/bencoultermusic)! These are other ways of staying connected with me and my career! Also big record executives really look at your Myspace friends in seeing how many fans you have! So please add me on Myspace and Facebook, and tell your friends to do the same!!
- Email everyone in your Email Contacts List and tell them about me and my music! Send them links to my sites, and if you have a cd tell them how much you like it!! If you've been to a show tell them how much you enjoyed it!! Maybe you don't have a cd or have been to a show, maybe you just stumbled onto the site, and liked the music you heard! Email your friends and tell them they really need to check out my website!!
Other ways off the Internet that you can help
- Come to shows! The best thing you can do for me and my music is to come to shows if you can, and bring people with you!! I know some of you may not live around where I play, but if you can make it please come out!
- Buy my merchandise (Cd's, pictures, t-shirts, etc.)! I feel a little weird saying this, but one of the best ways to get my name out there is for you, the fan, to buy my products!! If you buy my cd, and you like it, you will almost definitely let your friends listen to it!! If they like it they will maybe buy a cd for theirselves! It's all about getting the music out there!! Also if you buy a shirt it's a great marketing tool, because folks will see your shirt and wander who is Ben Coulter. Then they will google my name and find my website! It's such a great way to get my name out there!! You can buy my products at shows on or on the Products page of my website www.bencoulteronline.com.
- Spread the word!! This has two parts! If you like my music, tell people about it!! If I'm playing a show around your area, spread the word about that!! This could mean hanging up posters about the show, but it mainly means just telling people! You can do sooooo much for my music with just this one thing!
- Book a house concert!! If you want me to come to your area, don't wait on me to get booked in a club down there, book me yourself!! I will put a concert in your home or backyard, or wherever you want me to perform! This is a thing that's really taking the music scene by storm!! - Tell your local clubs, bars, and restaraunts to book me, and don't quit bugging them till they do!! If music venues know their customers really want to see an act they will almost always book them!! If theirs places you want me to play, let me know, and I'll try my best to get in there!! I've gotten lots of gigs this way!!
- Helping Financially!! This is another one of those ways that I feel weird bringing up. Times are hard for lots of folks right now, but some people love to help people out. If you want to help out in this way you can make donations through the "Make a Donation" button on the top of each page on my website (www.bencoulteronline.com). If you do not want to donate like that but in another way you can email me at bencoultermusic@gmail.com. I paid for all of the instrumentation with donations from Sponsors for Cuzz Vol. III, and Donations from sponsors back in 2005 really helped me get my feet off the ground where I could start making cd's available to the public!! Those people will always be remembered and appreciated for helping me at the very beginning!!
